Jerry In the Roses. One of a Kind Grateful Dead XL Vintage Denim Work Vest
Living in The Haight is like being in a Grateful Dead show parking lot scene that never ends and never leaves. I made a bunch of stuff for GDF passing through this year's Haight Ashbury Street Fair (see me setting up for it with my friend Sasha by clicking here at 10:32), and while I sold most of it, I still have a few offerings for some Deadheads out there in the rest of the big world!
This one is a classic American-made, vintage denim work vest covered in heady vibes. Jerry Garcia reigns like the king of an alternative universe on the back side, with a classic skeleton patch and signature Grateful Dead red roses cut from fine cotton quilting fabric. On the front side there is a variety of patches, both handmade and vintage. Everything is finished with a variety of machine and hand stitches to make this a durable af, long-lasting, hard partying garment. This is meant to be a family heirloom and a "Family" heirloom.
Size not marked, but this thing is BIG. In the photos I'm wearing it over a boxy denim jacket. This is probably XL or XXL. Lots of pockets make this great for adventures of the body... and mind...
